Squiggle Zoo: Learn Origami ("the app") is designed so that children can use it safely: the developer collects no personal information or usage data.
- No data is collected. The record of folded animals (which animal, in which paper color), progress on an unfinished fold and settings are stored on your device. The app never sends them to the developer or anyone else, and the developer has no server. They are included in your device's iCloud or computer backup (an Apple feature; the developer cannot see it).
- No ads, no tracking and no analytics. The app contains no third-party SDKs, sends no notifications and does not use device identifiers. If you have chosen in your device settings to share analytics with Apple, Apple may show the developer anonymous crash reports through its own system (the app itself sends nothing).
- The developer built this app to meet the rules of Apple's App Store Kids category.
- No account is needed.
- Internet: play (folding and the zoo on the desk) works without the internet. The app goes online only for buying or restoring the purchase on the parents' page, showing its price, and when a parent opens our other apps there (all with the App Store).
- Camera, microphone, photos and location are not used. The app has no saving to Photos, no sharing and no printing.
- Purchases and restoring them are handled by Apple's App Store under Apple's privacy policy. Neither the app nor the developer receives payment or Apple Account information.
- Outside links and App Store pages appear only on the parents' page, behind a multiplication question for grown-ups. The children's screens have no links, purchases, notifications or rating prompts.
- Deleting data: deleting the app removes the app's data (the record of folded animals, unfinished folds and settings) from the device. Anything kept in a device backup stays after the app is deleted; turn the app off in your backup settings or delete old backups. The purchase stays with your Apple Account and comes back with "Restore Purchase".
Children's privacy laws (COPPA, GDPR, UK GDPR, APPI)
We collect no personal information from children or parents, including personal information under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), so there is nothing for which COPPA (US), the GDPR (EU) or the UK GDPR would require parental consent. Nothing is sent to or stored on our servers.

If a change to the app changes what information it handles, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date.
